Ted (Bozidar) Kramolc of Toronto Ontario passed away peacefully in his sleep during the early morning of September 3rd, 2013.

Ted was born in Ljublijana, Slovenia (Yugoslavia) on March 27, 1922 to Luka and Maria Kramolc. In 1948, after spending 2 years in a refugee camp in Austria, Ted made the move to Canada to start a new life. Soon after, Ted married the love of his life, Ljudmilla, who he remained with until her passing.

Upon landing in Canada, Ted worked building railways in Western Canada before being accepted straight into third year at the Ontario College of Art. Ted was blessed with extraordinary creative talent. He worked hard as the chief designer at Royal Trust, but still found time to focus on his art. Ted was an accomplished painter that was renowned both at home in Slovenia and in his adopted home in Canada.

Ted was also published several times in Slovenia, having both short stories and full novels released. He continued to return home to Slovenia to celebrate his accomplishments in both literature and painting right up until his death.

Ted had a wonderfully goofy sense of humour and an endless vault of incredible stories that he loved to tell with passion. Ted was the kind of person that would go completely out of his way to make you smile.

Ted spent the majority of his leisure time at his chalet that he built near Mansfield, Ontario. He continued to frequent Mansfield right up until his death, preferring the silent Ontario north to the noise of the city. It is here that Ted would be at his most creative and inspired. Although Ted always reflected fondly about his time in Slovenia, it is Canada that he truly considered to be his home. He adopted as many Canadian customs as possible and wore his Toronto Maple Leaf gear proudly.

Ted has lovingly survived by his brother, Dr. Niko Kramolc, twin sons Tom and Ted; daughter-in-law Pat, as well as his grandson Michael.
