Salvatore Iusi born April 17th, 1939 in Zumpano, Cosenza, Italy.

After a courageous battle with COPD, Salvatore passed away of a heart attack in the early morning of Sunday June 20th, 2016 at the age of 77. Beloved father of sons Mario and Gianfranco; daughter, Maria Chiaravalloti and son in law Peter Chiaravallotii: wife, Rosina Iusi (Cosentino). Cherished grandfather of Anthony, Michael, Alex Chiaravalloti; Sebastian Iusi, Gabriella and Keegan Iusi. He will be missed dearly by his brothers and sisters in italy: Maurino, Benito, Rosetta, Franca Iusi; brother and sister in-laws: Luigi and Angela Perrone, Silvana and Frank Reda, Pasquale and Mary Cosentino, Dina and Joe Rachiele; and his many nieces and nephews. He is now at peace in heaven with his beloved mother, Maria Desantis; father Mario Iusi; mother and father in-law Elena and Luigi Cosentino; and beloved niece Assunta Reda.

He loved and cherished each of us. He is smiling down on us and saying, "don't worry about me, take care of each other. I never have to worry about not being able to catch my breath again. I am finally at peace and I love each of you". And he would pat you on the head as he always did when he saw someone sad. He would not want us to be sad or have any regrets but to cherish his memories.

So.......In lieu of flowers or cards, the family encourages friends and family to leave a message or a happy memory, or one of his infamous sayings on the website to celebrate Salvatore's life.
