<div itemprop="description">Salvatore Aglialoro, 92 years old, passed away on June 16, 2016 in the comfort of his home in Bolton after battling prostate cancer. After 67 years of marriage, leaving behind his loving wife Grazia and children, daughter Flora, son Giuseppe as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren, he will be dearly missed. <br> <br>Born in Ventimiglia, Sicily in the Province of Palermo Italy 1924. He was the son of Fortunata and Giuseppe Aglialoro. While in Italy, he worked on his father’s farm. Salvatore found himself a beautiful and devoted companion Grazia, whom he married in 1948. In 1951, they welcomed their first-born, daughter Flora. <br> <br>They immigrated to Canada in 1954 to start a new life for their family. When he had arrived in Canada, Salvatore began to work in a cheese factory. He was promoted to foreman three years later. In 1963, they had a baby boy Giuseppe. In 1964, Salvatore left the cheese factory and became co-founder of Sia Beverages. He sold his portion of the business in 1966 to open his own business, Yonge Beverages, which thrived until 1977. At age 52, Salvatore and his wife would enjoy their retirement in their Florida home and still come back to Canada to see their family each year. In 2014, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and remained in Canada for treatment. <br> <br>In his youth, he enjoyed hunting with family and friends. Salvatore always had a passion for gardening and was a member on a bocci and lawn bowling team in Beeton, Bolton and Florida. <br> <br>Salvatore and Grazia, through their many years of marriage, had a love for dancing and entertaining. <br> <br>His zest for life, his love and respect for family and friends, and infectious laughter kept him young-at-heart. We will all miss Salvatore's engaging stories. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. <br></div>
