Carmine Buono
February 16, 1930 - May 29, 2016
Carmine Buono
With his wife and children at his side, he passed away peacefully as was his way, at Etobicoke General Hospital on May 29th at the age of 86. Loving husband of 54 years to Gilda, dear father to Maria De Marco (Lauro), Antonietta Del Frate (Carlo) and Enzo Buono (Linda). Proud Nonno to 5 grandchildren, Sonia, Samantha, Sara, Mario and Mia.
Born in the small town of Caspoli, Caserta, near the township of Mignano Montelungo. Married on January 21, 1962, he and his new bride immigrated to Canada for more opportunities for his new family. Italy was in his heart and he travelled back often. He was famous for his grapevines, homemade wine, prosciutto and most of all his fig trees.
Carmine will be lovingly remembered by those who knew him as a gentle soul.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support, and friendship.
